On Wednesday May 3rd, AMSA's hosted a Hawaiian-themed Pre-Medical Education Network (PEN) Social for all the mentees and mentors. This was a great opportunity for everyone to socialize and have fun.
The event included getting creative with a DIY bracelet-making activity. Each participant was given a kit containing colorful beads, strings, and other accessories to make their own unique bracelets. It was a great way for everyone to show off their creative skills and make something that they could take home as a souvenir.
Of course, no AMSA Social is complete without food and drinks. PEN members enjoyed Hawaiian punch and some delicious pizza, including pineapple pizza, which sparked a friendly debate!
The evening ended with a screening of the Disney movie Moana. The movie was a perfect ending to a fun-filled evening! Overall, the PEN social was a huge success, and we can't wait for the next PEN event!
