On Wednesday, February 15, AMSA at UCR hosted an information session by Western University of Health Sciences.
Through this presentation, we learned all about the admissions process into medical school as a D.O. applicant and the opportunities within the Podiatric Medicine from the university's representative, Chris Vu. MCAT, GPA, timeline, curriculum, types of interviews, and location of campuses were topics that were thoroughly discussed among AMSA members and Chris.
At the end of the meeting, AMSA talked about upcoming social, volunteering, and fundraising events. Be sure to join us at our last general meeting of the quarter on March 1 in the Student Success Center MPR 1!
