On January 20th, a few AMSA Board Members and Communications Committee members attended a science fair at Grand Terrace High School.
The experiment challenged students' perceptions by exploring whether plugging their noses affected their ability to taste Skittle flavors! This hands-on experiment aimed to make science exciting, encouraging students to question assumptions about taste and smell.
Beyond the experiment, AMSA members connected with students, sharing insights into science and medicine to inspire the next generation.
AMSA's involvement at the Science Fair was a meaningful opportunity to foster interest in science and showcase the engaging side of AMSA's outreach. Stay tuned for more events as we continue to inspire and engage with aspiring scientists in our community!
