On Wednesday, November 15th, AMSA hosted a UCR CAPS information session on managing stress and burnout.
Through this presentation, we learned about many different ways to manage stress and burnout such as mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and more. The UCR CAPS representative also lets AMSA members know of all the resources available to them including counseling online and in-person at their new location right across Dundee. She stressed the importance of taking care of yourself through all aspects of life in order to avoid going through burnout. To help out with this, they also gave away free goodies such as a bat stress ball, an informational brochure, a coloring kit, and more!
If you were not able to make it to the meeting, be sure to watch the meeting using the link under the "General Meetings" tab or in the email we sent out!
At the end of the meeting, AMSA talked about upcoming social, volunteering, and fundraising events. Thank you to everyone who has joined us at our general meeting this quarter, and we hope to see you next quarter for some exciting meeting topics!
