At AMSA, we provide our own volunteering events to active general members. Check out our volunteering opportunities that are up-to-date under "Volunteering Events" (click "Volunteering" under the "Events" tab) and the calendar on the "Home" page. We also provide rides and keep track of hours for our active chapter members for the events! Click our Dues tab to learn how to be an active member of the UCR AMSA chapter.

Cope Health Scholars

Local Medical Assistant Job Opportunity

Looking for a local medical assistant job opportunity? Gain hands-on patient care experience at Total Care Walk-in Clinic, one of the leading primary care/urgent care practices in SoCal. Assist a team of MDs, PAs, and NPs with front and back office duties including venipuncture, EKGs, spirometry, allergy testing, and more. All training is provided; no certification is necessary:

Probe Scholars

The UC Riverside School of Medicine Ultrasound Selective's Probe Scholars Program is looking for undergraduate students for the 2024 - 2025 academic year who are willing to volunteer as patient models to allow our medical students to practice ultrasound techniques on different parts of the body. If you are interested in participating in this program, please fill out the following Google Form so that we can contact you with more information. Please note that signing up does not guarantee a volunteer spot in the program. Interested undergraduate students must:
- Be enrolled as a UCR undergraduate student for the 2024-2025 academic year
- Complete an onboarding process by the end of the current academic year
- Participate in at least one ultrasound session during the 2024-2025 academic year
- Be willing to serve as a standardized patient for medical students to practice scanning various parts of the body
